Webinar Protein transition

The protein transition is the shift from animal proteins towards using alternative protein sources such as micro-organisms and cell cultures. The transition is needed for a more sustainable food system.
In this webinar you were informed about the National Growth Fund Cellular Agriculture Netherlands (CAN). This presentation was given by Chantal Christis, Program Coordinator Research and Education National Growth Fund Cellular Agriculture at CAN. We also dove into options for precision fermentation at the University of Applied Sciences by Miaomiao Zhou, Associate Professor Smart Fermentation at MNEXT/Avans, and Laura Claret-Fernandez, Project Leader/Researcher Fermentation Technology at HAN BioCentre. Finally you were given an insight into a company perspective by Will van de Tweel, CTO/COO Those Vegan Cowboys.
