Within the Smart Fermentation team at MNEXT/Avans, we focus on improving efficiency, controllability and scalability of fermentation by optimizing and controlling fermentation conditions.
Additionally, we use advanced gene editing, bioinformatics, AI, and DNA sequencing technologies to enhance the performance of microbial strains, improve the monitoring capacity and advance the robustness of the system. This way, we aim to help various sectors move from traditional processes to smarter and greener alternatives
