Beyond Wood: Environmental impact of a biobased construction material

West-Brabant is undergoing a transition toward a climate-neutral economy, affecting traditional sectors such as chemistry, agro-food, and energy. Beyond Wood contributes to this transition by developing and producing an innovative, biobased, and circular construction material made from low-grade wood residues. This material, which is fire-resistant, durable, and suitable for various building applications—starting with façade cladding—offers a sustainable alternative to fossil-based products. The project aims to establish a scalable production line with significant CO₂ reduction potential. MNEXT supports innovation within Beyond Wood by providing expertise in material development and sustainability.
