biobased-challengeA Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a large-scale course that is given online. You are therefore not bound to a location. You work with traditional study materials such as text, videos and cases. Via discussion platforms you interact with students and professionals worldwide.

At CoE BBE you can currently follow 5 different MOOCs. You learn more about the biobased economy and related themes. Students from other colleges and universities, professionals and students worldwide also participate. All courses are taught in English.

More than 3,000 participants from 49 different countries have already taken part. More than 500 participants obtained a certificate.

What do you get from a MOOC?

You learn to collaborate in a virtual environment and with participants from different countries. You develop skills and knowledge about the biobased economy that will come in handy during your internship, minor or work. If you complete a MOOC, you will also receive 1 to 2 ECTS and / or a certificate for some studies.

This broad introduction to the Biobased Economy scratches the surface of various topics. You can then follow another MOOC to elaborate on it.
