Lectorenplatform Biobased Economy
The Lectorenplatform Biobased Economy, a collaboration of lecturers from 14 different universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands, focuses on the innovation and adoption of biobased materials and energy, an integral part of the circular economy.
This approach, known as the biobased economy, involves replacing materials and energy derived from fossil sources with alternatives made from renewable, plant-based resources.
The transition towards a biobased economy is not only a matter of technological advancement but also requires adjustments on economic and societal levels.
