The kick-off conference is the place to be if you want to gain more and new insights, knowledge and contacts around training skilled personnel for the energy transition.
Energy(k) Education is a border region project that will recruit, train, retrain and upskill young people and adults for professions to enable the energy transition. 18 educational institutions, government agencies, sectoral and other intermediary organizations from Flanders and the southern Netherlands are working together across borders in this project. The common goal is to eliminate personnel and competence shortages in relevant sectors for the energy transition.
Working together on a roadmap
During this free-to-attend kick-off conference, we start from the current situation of competence and training needs in light of the energy transition. We are looking for maximum opportunities for cross-border and regional cooperation between secondary and higher education. To this end, we will present a roadmap to you as an expert and stakeholder in one of the relevant sectors. Together we look at how we can better align secondary and higher education with the needs in the energy transition.
Program in a nutshell
The program consists of a presentation of our ambitious project goals and interactive expert sessions for relevant sectors in the built environment (construction and installation), industry and energy.During the information market with practical and success stories from project partners, the lunch and networking drinks, you will have plenty of opportunity to meet other people who propagate the importance of competence strengthening for the energy transition.
