The Biobased Transitions lectorate (professor Martijn Zieverink) consists of researchers and lecturer-researchers from a wide variety of domains, all needed to accelerate the biobased transition. Our lecturer-researchers conduct practice-oriented research together with (international) companies, research institutes and students. This is usually done in the form of grant and education projects.
Our mission
To investigate, visualize and remove the hurdles that currently hinder the large-scale use of non-fossil raw materials, with the aim of realizing a real transition.
What does the lectorate offer?
The Biobased Transitions lectorate conducts practice-oriented research for and with companies. We almost always involve students in this. If you have a practice-oriented question within one of our research themes, please contact us. We will then look together at whether and how we can address the question and what the possibilities are to obtain a subsidy for this.
We are always interested in enthusiastic lecturers who want to come and do research at our lectorate. We have hours available for this. If you are interested, please contact us.
We try to involve as many students as possible in the research that the lectorate conducts. This means that we have interesting internship and graduation assignments. You can find the assignments here.
