Background
Are you interested in the materials transition and especially chemicals? Do you want the opportunity to network and work with entrepreneurs in the field? Want to learn about the fascinating topic of Biobased Transitions? Do you have skills in data management and are willing to take initiative to find information?
The materials transition consists of both large and small chemical industries replacing fossil feedstocks with biofeedstocks to make climate neutral plastics and materials. Although many technologies have been proven a minuscule fraction of today’s materials are made with biobased methods. In this project you will investigate what other elements are required to drive change in the industry. With your economic skills and interest in green industry you will create hypotheses for improvement and defend these with market analysis. Your findings will support new partnerships and collaborations with existing industry giants and emerging biobased pioneers.
