Rethinking our energy system

Topic: Energy Holacracy
Speaker: Jack Doomernik, Lector Smart Energy
Moderator: Dr. Miaomiao Zhou, associate professor Smart Fermentation – MNEXT

Description:
Our energy system is traditionally centrally organized with only a few large producers. Nowadays electricity grids are congested, caused by the still growing energy demand and the increase in the number of local renewable energy sources. We need to rethink our energy system to be fit for the future and become more sustainable. We foresee a more locally organized energy supply for business parks, industrial sites and residential areas with holons as building blocks. In this lecture, Professor Smart Energy, Jack Doomernik shared his knowledge of Energy Holacracy and highlighted the holon approach and the practical implementation.
