Willem Böttger

Between 2015 and 2022, Willem Böttger has been a lecturer in Biobased Building at the Center of Expertise Biobased Economy of Avans and HZ University of Applied Sciences. He also enjoys working on biobased composite materials as Director of Innovation at NPSP. Known, among other things, for the environmentally friendly biobased bicycle path seats, the biocomposite facade of Nieuw Prinsenland and the biobased scooter. Böttger studied Physics at the UvA, did applied research in the field of building physics and solar energy at TNO Bouw, researched photovoltaic solar energy at Ecofys and was a senior strategist at Essent.
